Kashmiri Dum Aloo Recipe

Kashmiri Dum Aloo is a traditional North Indian recipe . Now it is considered a favourite dish of Asia. cook kashmiri dum aloo in step by step as peel potatoes, fry potatoes by put salt on it, mix yogurt red chilli powder, cardamom, dried ginger and fennel.cook and serve.

potatoes(small) 20
kashmiri red chillies(dried) 6water 1cup
salt to taste
oil 1/4 cup for fry
yogurt 2 cup
cardamom powder 1/2table spoon
dried ginger powder 1tbsp
fennel powder 2tbsp
cloves(powder) 1pinchcumin seeds for sprinkling
Cooking method:

  1. soak red chillies in a water for little while and grind.
  2. Peel potatoes and pierce holes with fork.
  3. Put salt on potatoes and take aside for little time.
  4. Heat oil in a pot and fry potatoes golden, and remove from heat.
  5. Now Mix yogurt red chilli powder, cardamom, dried ginger and fennel.
  6. Heat oil in a pot add cloves, water and salt.
  7. Boil water, add yogurt mixture and bring to boil again.
  8. Add potatoes and cook till oil separate.
  9. remove from heat and dishout potatoes.
  10. Sprinkle cumin and hot spices on top.
